About Me:
Malinda Peter
I am an Interior Decorator, Faux and Mural Artist. I have also studied Bauermaleri in Switzerland; I have studied under Scottie Foster, and various other teachers here in the United States.I have work with many surfaces including real eggs: (Ostrich, Rhea, Goose, Emu and regular Chicken eggs, that I paint, carve and etch, making them into lamps, jewelry boxes, ornaments, dolls and other objects.My fascination with gourds grew out of a common interest in nature’s art that continues to expand with each and every gourd.I have found that, the fun part of working with gourds is like everything else in nature, there are no two alike. The gourds texture, shape, and the natural colors, make the creative expression limited only to my imagination.
I love Arts & Craft and I am always excited to find new materials and new ways to use them.
